A picture of Whiney Apples
WEIGHT VOLUME QUANTITY INGREDIENT INSTRUCTIONS
  4 cup 4 cup coarsely diced apples
  1. put everything (but the corn starch) in a small pot on low to medium
  2. let simmer for approx 5-10 minutes until apples turn slightly soft
  3. mix corn starch with 2 table spoons of cold water, then add to the pot
  4. stir until sauce thickens (approx 1 minute)
  5. let cool down and serve with vanilla ice cream or brownies
  1 cup 1 cup red wine (can be cheap or vinegary)
  1/2 cup 1/2 cup sugar
  1/2 whole 1/2 whole tea spoon of cinnamon
    a pinch of ground cloves (or one whole clove)
    some small twigs of fresh rosemary and/or lavender (optional)
  1 whole 1 whole tea spoon of corn starch [later!]
